How to connect Tally on cloud with CredFlow
- To connect CredFlow with your Tally on cloud, you will need the IP address of your cloud and dedicated ODBC port number of your tally.
- To get your IP address, you can contact your cloud provider and ask them to enable the ODBC port of tally from firewall. This can be done from the cloud provider only.
- Once the ODBC port of tally is enabled from firewall, then you need to put the IP address and ODBC port in CredFlow.
Once the ODBC port is enable from the firewall then you need to check if the ODBC port is configured in your tally or not?
If ODBC port is not configured in Tally Prime then you need to follow the below steps to configured the ODBC port :
- Go to Tally press F1 (Help) -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Client/Server Configuration
- Select the following options,
- Tally Prime acts as: Both
- Enable ODBC server: Yes
- Port: 9000 (Mention the ODBC port given by your Tally provider)
- Select the following options,
- Go to Tally press F1 (Help) -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Client/Server Configuration
How to check if the ODBC port is enabled from Firewall?
- Open "Port checker" website on your browser.
- Put your IP address and ODBC port number and then check if it is enabled or not.
- If the port is enabled from firewall it will show as "Open" and if the port is not enabled then it will show "Closed"
