If you encounter an error stating that the company is not open in Tally and synchronization is not happening, please follow these steps to resolve the issue:


Step 1 : Check if the company is open in tally 


  • Ensure that the company you are trying to sync is open in Tally.
  • If the company is not open, then it is required open the company in tally along with CredFlow desktop application so that data can be synced automatically




Step 2: Verify ODBC Port Settings: 


  • Check if the ODBC port is correctly configured in both Tally and the CredFlow desktop application
  • Ensure that the port numbers match in both applications


Follow the below steps to check port in Tally:

  • Go into Tally press F1 (Help) -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Client/Server Configuration
  • Select the following options,
    • Tally Prime acts as:  Both
    • Enable ODBC serverYes
    • Port : sample (9001 / 9002 / 9003)


  • Then Press Ctrl-A to Save the setting and then it will automatically restart your Tally




  • Open the CredFlow desktop app
  • Go to Settings -> Enter tally port no. as 9000 the same which was configured in tally, and Save the settings, company will start syncing automatically






Step 3 : Restart Tally and CredFlow Applications:

  • Close both Tally and the CredFlow desktop application
  • Reopen Tally and ensure the company is open
  • Reopen the CredFlow desktop application and attempt to sync again



By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the synchronization issue and ensure that your company data is properly synced between Tally and CredFlow.
