1. Check if the odbc server is running or not, by typing the address and port number in the address bar of a web browser.

  2. Use URL for e.g. 127.92.45.678 (provided by cloud provider) and the port number on which ODBC server is enabled.

  3. The link would be then 127.92.45.678:9000 (for example)

Otherwise, contact the cloud provider to enable the ODBC server on a port and enable request access from outside their domain. So that you can directly connect to Tally on Cloud using a desktop application running locally on your system.

Once done, open the desktop application.

  1. Log in and go to Settings.
  2. IP would be http://(IP provided by your cloud provider) and port where ODBC Server of tally is enabled in your Tally Configuration.

NOTE: Make sure to add http: before your cloud IP. Else it will not work.

  1. Save the settings and switch to add company.

  2. Open your Tally on Cloud and load the company you want to sync.

  3. Refresh the desktop application in Add Company from here.

  4. You will see tally connected status and list of companies are loaded in tally but are not yet synced with us.

  5. This list does not include companies already synced with us.
